Akamai Nominum
At Akamai Nominum, I learned to see software delivery as more than application code. Infrastructure, deployment, operational tooling, and communication all affect whether a system works well in practice.
Understanding the platform made me a stronger developer.
While at EPAM, I contributed to Akamai Nominum's Secure Internet Access product, building Spring-based integrations and BFF components, working on a JavaScript proxy, and maintaining Python and React tools for internal operations.
Strong engineering is as much about judgment as code.
The role taught me to think through the full delivery path: application code, environments, deployment, internal tools, and the communication needed to keep multiple teams aligned.
